Commission approves $9,000 acquisition of 5-acre conservation parcel

NH SANDOWN — Sandown Conservation Commission votes to acquire 5-acre conservation parcel after eight years. The commission unanimously approved allocating up to $9,000 from its Land Use Change Tax account for the property on the town's west side, surrounded by more than 70 acres of conservation land. Chairman Brian Butler will present the $5,000 purchase to the Board of Selectmen on June 15 for authorization to sign the agreement.
The commission also unanimously approved a Conditional Use Permit for Sanctuary Estates, LLC, a 412 Main Street development, contingent on sealed plans from appropriate New Hampshire licensed professionals.
