Heritage Commission plans 250th Anniversary events

NH SANDOWN — Heritage Commission orders 250th Anniversary merchandise and plans summer events. The four-member Sandown Heritage Commission, led by Chair Pamela Gaudreau, approved an order of 30 commemorative mugs at $16 wholesale and $25 retail cost. The commission agreed to partner with the Sandown Library on bicentennial programming and discussed organizing summer demonstrations at the Red Barn, including a Native American ceremonial and a blacksmith demonstration.

Clerk Peter Koester will design a two-sided commemorative poker chip, and commission member Paul Wentzell will assist the Conservation Commission with magnet fundraiser graphic design.
