Recreation · Meeting of February 4, 2026

NH SANDOWN — Sandown Recreation plans multiple spring programs and facility improvements. Recreation Director Becky Francis reported that Adult Yoga classes will launch next Monday at $20 per person, with an Intro to Sewing class planned at $40 per person on Sundays, and a free Snow Day event will replace the cancelled Breakfast and Bingo program. Commission Chairman George Blaisdell and members Chris Longchamps, Sara Michalakis, and Sean Tiney discussed facility improvements including a temporary ice-skating rink at $2,000 to $5,000 one-time cost with $100 annual liner replacement, and parking lot paving quotes ranging from $17,000 to $65,000.

The board agreed to donate a free week of summer camp to the Sandown PTA calendar fundraiser.
