Recreation Commission reviews spring programming, summer plans

NH SANDOWN — Sandown Recreation Commission reviews spring programming and receives stormwater project update. Recreation Director Becky Francis reported strong participation in spring programs including Tacos and Trivia with 30 participants and Petals and Poses with 11 participants; new soccer nets and a pickleball net have been ordered. Highway Director Rich O'Hanley presented the Seeley Beach stormwater project, designed to reduce phosphorus entering Phillips Pond, with an estimated completion timeline of two to three weeks before summer season begins and discussion continuing on site improvements including potential tree removal.
