Sandown Conservation Commission approves Hunt Pond boardwalk consulting contract

Conservation Commission · Meeting of June 25, 2026

NH SANDOWN — Sandown Conservation Commission approves Hunt Pond boardwalk consulting contract and trail magnets. Commissioners unanimously allocated $1,880 from the Environmental Consultant line item to West Environmental for consulting services on the Hunt Pond Boardwalk Project, with Eversource providing bridge materials. They also unanimously approved $300 from the Education and Awareness line item for conservation-area trail magnets featuring a QR code linked to trail maps.

Multiple conservation properties require maintenance, including the Wells Village bridge railing and the Red Barn property. The Derry/Chester/Sandown boundary marker, down for years, will be surveyed and replaced by Lavelle Associates at no cost.
