Conservation Commission · Meeting of February 26, 2026

NH SANDOWN — Sandown Conservation Commission plans May 2 Fishing Derby with increased police costs. The board unanimously approved the January 22 minutes. Presenter Colleen Olsen outlined the spring event at approximately $875 for 150 fish; police detail costs have increased to around $360 per hour from the prior $80 to $85 rate.

The commission chose "Kiwi" for T-shirt color, with Kristin McClary volunteering as check-in coordinator. Members identified numerous corrections needed on a conservation property magnet, including spelling errors and inaccurate numbering; Pam Gaudreau will present revised versions.
