Sandown Heritage Commission Plans 250th Anniversary Heritage Fair
Heritage Commission · Meeting of May 7, 2026
NH SANDOWN — The Sandown Heritage Commission advances planning for a fall heritage fair tied to the nation's 250th anniversary celebration. The five-member commission, chaired by Pamela Gaudreau, unanimously approved its April 2 minutes during its May 7 meeting. Gaudreau reported difficulty arranging a Native American tribal demonstration but proposed contacting Kevin Major to organize a vintage military reenactment for the fall event instead.
Stone site surveys will begin at the Wells Village Town Forest mill sites with the Gages performing the work. The commission confirmed that a New Hampshire Humanities presentation titled "Redcoats and Rebels" by Mary Adams will be held August 5 at 7 p.m. in Town Hall.
