NH SANDOWN — Sandown Recreation Commission authorizes $500 for beach permit engineering work. The commission unanimously approved the spending for Town Engineer assistance in securing a permit for Seeley Beach sand replacement. The commission also approved two refund requests totaling $410, a 1950s Sock Hop and Ice Cream Social on August 10 with a $100 budget cap, and an additional Adult Craft Night in August.
Summer camp enrollment is nearly full across most weeks, with weeks 1-4 and 6-7 ranging from 78 to 98 filled spots out of 90-100 available. The Sandown Farmers Market opens June 24 with theme days including a Kids Market and Community Day.
