Sandown Oktoberfest Committee reappoints members, sets 2026 event date

NH SANDOWN — Sandown Oktoberfest Committee plans October 17 event, reappoints members. Chair Karen Jortberg, Vice Chair Erica Olsen, Treasurer Colleen Olsen, and member Becky Francis were unanimously reappointed for two-year terms expiring March 2028. Vice Chair Erica Olsen reported approximately $5,700 in available budget with fundraising efforts underway.
The committee approved a $200 Boston Red Sox gift card raffle drawing by late May and a second raffle drawing at the event. The committee will confirm the German Band for music and Mark Gordon for sound services, and Karen Jortberg will pursue the beer tent liquor license and coordinate with beverages distributors.
