NH SANDOWN — Selectmen approve firefighter and office assistant hires, reshuffle senior affairs committee. Vice-Chairman Meganne Daly presided as the Board unanimously appointed Benjamin Winter as Firefighter/EMT at $19.19 per hour effective August 10, 2026, and Lisa Butler as part-time office assistant to the Town Clerk/Tax Collector's office starting at $19.81 per hour, increasing to $20.40 after 90 days. The Board accepted Scott Bickford's resignation from the Senior Affairs Transportation Committee after nine years, maintaining his alternate status through March 2027, and appointed Breanna Ekholm to a three-year term.
Finance Director Gayle Hamel discussed banking improvements to boost town deposit returns.
