Conservation Commission approves $2,880 for Hunt Pond consulting

NH SANDOWN — The Sandown Conservation Commission unanimously approved $2,880 for environmental consulting on the Hunt Pond Boardwalk Project. Chairman Brian Butler led the board in voting to allocate funds from the Environmental Consultant budget line to West Environmental Services. The board also scheduled Red Barn property cleanup for August 27 and directed administrative aide Nicole Pitts to coordinate a QR code linking conservation trail maps.
Vice-Chair Timothy Robinson required revised engineering plans for a retaining wall permit at 66 Phillips Pond Drive before the commission will sign off on the permit, specifically requesting updates to geogrid placement and leveling pad specifications.
