Board approves conservation land purchase and multiple appointments

NH SANDOWN — The Sandown Board of Selectmen approved a conservation land purchase and made multiple key appointments at Monday's meeting. The Conservation Commission was authorized to acquire a 5-acre parcel at Tax Map 14 Lot 19-85 for $5,000, funded through the Land Use Change Tax Fund, with Brian Butler designated to sign documents for the transaction. Christine Schnaible was appointed Deputy Town Clerk/Tax Collector following Town Clerk Tanya Gaynor's recommendation, and Charles Bristol was appointed Inspector of Elections through 2028.

The board also accepted a new Investment Policy for all financial assets to be reviewed annually starting in 2027, approved extended camper residence for homeowner Ron Dunbar, and authorized Public Works Director Rich O'Hanley to proceed with road improvements on North Road and Fremont Road.
