Summer camp registration fee increases to thirty-five dollars

Recreation · Meeting of February 18, 2026

NH SANDOWN — The recreation commission votes to raise summer camp registration fee in response to deficit. Director Becky Francis reported the program lost approximately $10,000 last year despite averaging 90 children per week over seven weeks of programming. The commission agreed to raise the registration fee to $35 and directed Francis to analyze field trip pricing to achieve budget balance.

Pricing decisions must be finalized by the March 4 meeting, as camp registration launches April 1.
