Board appoints Gaynor as interim Town Clerk/Tax Collector
Board of Selectmen · Meeting of May 21, 2026
NH SANDOWN — Sandown Board of Selectmen fills critical town clerk vacancy with deputy appointment. The board unanimously appointed Tanya Gaynor, the Deputy Town Clerk/Tax Collector, following the resignation of Dawn Nicolaisen. The move was urgent: Secretary of State and Vital Records offices had disabled the town's permissions due to the absence of a licensed clerk.
Gaynor will serve until the town election on March 9, 2027, at $39.33 per hour for 40 hours per week. The board also approved a $3,200 recommittal audit by Plodzik & Sanderson, PA.
